Olive Almond Tapenade

The anti-oxidant and monounsaturated goodness of olives are enhanced by polyunsaturated goodness in almonds making for a very healthy and tasty spread.

Directions

  1. Place the almonds in a bag and break up with a mallet or the bottom of a healthy pot.
  2. Place the olives, almonds, shallots, garlic, parsley and pepper in the food processor and pulse until everything is coarsely chopped. If you don’t have a food processor, then you can make this recipe by chopping everything by hand.
  3. Add the olive oil slowly and pulse to incorporate until you get the right consistency.

Variations

Use this awesome spread in sandwiches, as a dip, or on top of chicken or steak!
