Smoothies are a great way to pack some nutrition into your system. If you are short on time, you should always have 5 minutes to whip up a smoothie for the road and this one does a good job of covering your nutritional bases.
If you think of it, soak the sunflower seeds overnight on the counter in water with a pinch of salt.
Peel the mango with a veggie peeler and then carefully cut the flesh off of the pit. Add the mango to a blender along with the yogurt, strawberries, apple, sunflower seeds and liquid of your choice.
Puree until very smooth and then add the greens powder and puree for 5 seconds more. The reason you add the greens at the end is that these powders can be heat sensitive and blender blades create heat.
Serve immediately and enjoy the vitamin rush.
