Nutritious Apple Crisp

Nutritious Apple Crisp



  1. Start off by slicing up your apples.  You can either do this with a knife or by using a mandolin.
  2. Next toss the sliced apples with the cinnamon in a small mixing bowl until evenly distributed and then place the apples in a small – medium sized casserole dish.
  3. Now in your blender of small food processor add the oats, coconut, sugar and salt and pulse to chop up the oats and coconut.
  4. Add the butter and continue to pulse until incorporated.  Now top the apples with the oat mixture.
  5. Bake in a preheated 350° F oven for about 45 minutes or until nicely browned on top.
  6. Cool for 10 minutes and then enjoy as is or with vanilla Greek yogurt or ice cream.


Keep the coconut connection rolling by substituting coconut oil in place of the butter if desired.
