Maca Coconut Sauce

This sauce is super delicious and so, so easy. Not only that, but since we are incorporating maca powder and using coconut milk it is incredibly nutritious.



  1. Preheat a small pot or fry pan on medium heat.  Once the pan is hot add the coconut oil and then the onions and garlic and sauté, stirring regularly.
  2. Sauté until lightly browned all over.
  3. Add the coconut milk, soy sauce, maca powder and pepper.  Whisk together until the maca powder is fully dissolved.
  4. Now serve this sauce over vegetables, meat, eggs.


If you want, add 2 cups of sliced mushrooms to the pan about half way through browning the onions and garlic. Continue sautéing, stirring regularly, until the mushrooms are nicely browned.
