  • Yield Serves 4

Easy to make, but fancy enough for a dinner party, this delicious maple-glazed salmon can be made in the oven or the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • Sauce
  • Salmon

Directions

  1. Sauce: Combine the butter, lemon juice, maple syrup, apple juice, salt, smoked paprika and garlic in a small pot. Bring to a boil and simmer 5 minutes, until reduced by half.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. Salmon: Place the portions of salmon onto a tray or flat container. Pour half of the sauce on the salmon and let marinate up to 2 hours.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400.
  5. Cover bottom of airfryer with foil. Add the pieces of salmon, skin side down. (And slice apples, if desired). Pour the used marinade over the pieces.
  6. Air fry for 8 minutes. Brush on some of the reserved marinade (that wasn’t used on the salmon). Bake another 2 minutes.
  7. Brush on more marinade. Air fry 2 minutes more, until salmon is cooked through and caramelized.
  8. Brush on remaining reserved marinade and serve, with skin-on red potato mash and roasted or steamed vegetables.
