Spicy Asparagus Sauté

This sweet and spicy sauce can be used in place of a bottled stir-fry sauce. It is simple delicious and so much better than most things you will find pre-made. Feel free to make a double or triple batch as it will keep in the fridge well.



  1. Start this off by combining all of the ingredients for the sauce in a mixing bowl.
  2. Preheat a large fry pan on medium-high heat.  Add the asparagus and the sauce and sauté until the asparagus is cooked and the sauce has concentrated.
  3. Serve along with some rice or another grain and your favourite protein.


  • Asparagus season all done?  This sauce works great with cabbage, broccoli, zucchini or any other common stir-fry veggies.
