We have an opening for a Meat Wrapper ( Part-Time) at our Chase River location! We are looking for an energetic, customer focused individual that enjoys interacting with people and likes a fast paced work environment. If you think you’d be a good fit, apply today!
Schedule Requirements:
- Must have open availability
- Able to work early mornings on weekends
- Up to 24 hours per week
Pay: CA$18.25-CA$22.00 per hour
What we need from you:
- A high level of motivation and a proactive attitude
- The capacity to work in a cold and wet environment performing repetitive motions with a variety of equipment
- The ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- A heightened attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- An ability to prioritize tasks, follow directions, and manage time
- A willingness to work both autonomously and with a team
- A desire to provide outstanding customer service
- A desire to comply with established department procedures and safe work practices
- A willingness to learn and openness to coaching and feedback
Some of what you will do:
- Wrapping and preparing meat
- Stocking shelves, rotate and face products, build displays
- Ensure that high standards are set and maintained for all safety issues
- Perform other duties as required
Experience and Education:
- Customer Service experience is an asset
- Current Food Safe certification is an asset, however Country Grocer will help you achieve it.
