Strawberry Avocado SaladRecipe by Chef Michael Williams
This salad is best enjoyed as a summer time treat, but if you have the winter blues then perhaps this recipe can perk you up a little.
Directions
- Combine salad dressing ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
- Combine salad base ingredients in a large salad bowl. Spoon a desired amount of the dressing over greens to ensure everyone gets some yummy ginger pieces and toss until salad is evenly coated.
Variations
- If you do not enjoy the peppery kick offered by arugula, then you can easily substitute with some baby spinach or your favourite salad green.
- In keeping with the fruitiness you may want to add some chopped apple pieces for a varied texture.
