What we need from you:

  • Passion: You love helping people take care of their bodies, develop great nutrition habits and live better lives.
  • Experience: Have you spent 2-3 years in a natural health retail environment? Awesome! That experience will definitely come in handy.
  • Education: If you’ve studied fields related to natural health, like Natural Health, Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Naturopathy, or Homeopathy, that’s a big plus!
  • Knowledge: You’re all about natural health products, and you’ve got some serious computer skills to boot.
  • Leadership Skills: Got a knack for leading, coaching, and managing people? Perfect! Those skills are key.
  • Time Management: Juggling tasks and managing time like a pro? That’s what we’re looking for!
  • Interpersonal Skills: You’re a people person! You love delivering outstanding customer service, creating loyal customers and managing a small, dedicated team.
  • Flexibility: Ready to roll up your sleeves and pitch in, even on evenings and weekends? That flexibility is super important to us.

What will you do?

  • Training and Team Communication: You’ll be in charge of training our awesome nutrition department team, organizing their tasks, and creating schedules. Keeping those communication lines open is key to making our department thrive!
  • Ordering and Pricing: Stick to our ordering and pricing policies to make sure our products are priced just right and always in demand.
  • Merchandising: Get creative with our department displays to make sure they catch the eye and entice customers.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Keeping things spick and span is a top priority! Follow department policies to maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
  • Invoice Check: Double-check all product invoices to catch any shortages or billing hiccups.
  • Inventory Management: If you spot ways to improve our inventory or pricing, speak up! And don’t hesitate to stock up on supplies when needed.
  • Continuous Teaching: Keep the team on their toes by continually teaching them the best ways to do their jobs.
  • Scheduling and Budgeting: Plan out our sales and work hours to keep things running smoothly, and stick to the budget like a pro.
  • Financial Management: Keep an eye on those important figures like gross profit and supply costs, making sure we’re meeting store standards.
  • Customer Service: Encourage a friendly, helpful attitude among our nutrition staff to make sure every customer feels welcome and well taken care of.
  • Ordering and Display: Make sure all ordering, receiving, and displaying of merchandise follows store policy to a T.
  • Rotation and Cleanliness: Always keep things fresh by properly rotating our merchandise, and never compromise on cleanliness and sanitation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
