Job Title: Assistant Store Manager – Full-time

Location Name: Cobble Hill

Are you a passionate and experienced grocery leader ready to take the next step in your career? Our Cobble Hill store is looking for a dedicated Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team and support the day-to-day operations of the store. This role works closely with the Store Manager to ensure everything runs smoothly—from staffing and merchandising to customer service and product quality.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers by consistently providing friendly and helpful assistance
  • Collaborate with Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the store maintains company standards in cleanliness, presentation, and team readiness.
  • Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment where employees are equipped to succeed.
  • Contribute to achieving sales and profitability goals by overseeing the management of inventory levels, pricing strategies, and making informed and strategic purchasing decisions.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to lead key operations such as team hiring and onboarding, building and maintaining effective schedules, and supporting the achievement of budget goals through shared planning and communication.

About You:

  • You have at least four years of grocery leadership experience and know your way around a grocery store—from front-end to back stock.
  • You enjoy leading teams, offering support, sharing knowledge, and helping others grow.
  • You’re approachable, upbeat, and a great communicator who keeps things professional and clear.
  • You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and take initiative to keep things running smoothly.
  • You have open availability—including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
