Country Grocer and the Odd Fellows deliver $20,000(cost not retail) worth of Fresh Food to the Mustard Seed

Victoria Thursday December 18th, 2014 – The Odd Fellows and Country Grocer have teamed up once again for our 2nd annual Tonne of Love Food Bank Drive.

On Thursday December 18th, 7am the Odd Fellows will meet at Country Grocer Royal Oak’s shipping dock to load a truck with fresh food donated by Adam’s storage. Half of the food will be delivered to the Mustard Seed for 8am and the other half on Friday December 19th at 8am. What’s unique about this donation is that it contains fresh food! Hampers will be given out to families and will contain:

  • Hams
  • Cheese
  • Eggs
  • Produce
  • Baked Goods

$20,000 was raised over the last few months by the Odd Fellows and local businesses. Customers also donated money at the till at Royal Oak and Esquimalt. We hope to see you there for this massive donation of fresh food!
