We have an opening for a Part-Time Payroll Administrator located at our head office, located in Royal Oak, Victoria BC. This position will offer 32-34 hours/week, Monday – Thursday with a half day Friday. The payroll administrator’s responsibilities include the complete processing of weekly payroll for approximately 300 staff, including our Benefits and RSP/DPSP program, reconciling the payroll accounts to the GL, spreadsheets and preparing management reports.

  • 3 years of direct payroll experience
  • CPA certified or working towards designation
  • Ability to work independently
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and set priorities to meet the operational needs of the business
  • Strong knowledge of general office procedures
  • Superior telephone manners and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Detailed computer skills required for Great Plans Dynamics, Excel and Microsoft Word
