Meat Clerk – Part-time

We have an opening for a Part-time Meat Clerk at our Royal Oak location. We are looking for an energetic, customer focused individual that enjoys interacting with people and likes a fast paced work environment. If you think you’d be a fit, apply today!

Schedule Requirements:

• Must be available evenings and weekends
• Part-time 16-20 hours a week

What we need from you:

• A high level of motivation and a proactive attitude
• Ability to routinely lift 50lbs
• A heightened attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work effectively under pressure
• An ability to prioritize tasks, follow directions and manage time
• A willingness to work both autonomously and with a team
• A desire to provide outstanding customer service
• A desire to comply with established department procedures and safe work practices
• A willingness to learn and openness to coaching and feedback

Some of what you will do:

• Stocking shelves, rotating, facing products ,and building displays
• Ensure that high standards are set and maintained for all safety issues
• Perform other duties as required

Experience and Education:

• 1-2 years previous experience in a Meat Department an asset but no required
• Customer Service experience is an asset
• Current Food Safe certification is an asset, but we are happy to help you get it!
