Meat Clerk – Part/Full Time

We have an opening for a Part-time or Full-time Meat Clerk at our Cobble Hill location. We are looking for an energetic, customer focused individual that enjoys interacting with people and likes a fast paced work environment. If you think you’d be a fit, apply today!

• Must be available evenings and weekends
• Part-time or full-time 12-40 hours a week

As a Meat Department Clerk at Country Grocer, you’ll be a vital part of our team, helping customers find the perfect cuts of meat while delivering top-notch service with a smile! You’ll thrive in our lively environment, where you’ll get hands-on with meat preparation, keep our displays looking fantastic, and ensure the department stays clean and well-stocked. Your keen eye for detail and passion for customer service will make shopping at our store a delightful experience for everyone who stops by!

What we need from you:

• Enthusiasm and a can-do attitude!
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs with ease.
• A sharp eye for detail and accuracy, even when things get busy.
• Great at managing time, following directions, and staying organized.
• Happy to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Passionate about delivering top-notch customer service.
• Committed to following department procedures and safe work practices.
• Eager to learn and open to feedback and coaching.

Experience and Education:

• 1-2 years previous experience in a Meat Department an asset but no required
• Customer Service experience is an asset
• Current Food Safe certification is an asset, but we are happy to help you get it!
