Job Title: Lake Cowichan Part-time Tech Support

If you’re experienced in providing technical support and you’re passionate about troubleshooting and finding solutions, we want to hear from you! Lake Cowichan Country Grocer is seeking a self-motivated IT Professional to provide technical support on an on-call or part-time basis (option to supplement hours in another department). This position will be responsible for maintaining computer systems, hardware, software and other peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance and store productivity.
About the Job:
- You’ll respond to Team Member inquiries when they are experiencing computer, printer, fax or general IT difficulties and resolve issues in a timely manner
- You’ll perform hardware and software installations, configurations and updates as needed
- You’ll assist new Team Members with technology onboarding needs including email set up, computer login and database(s) setup
- You’ll complete the offboarding process including deactivating computer and email access as needed
- You’ll complete other tasks as required
About you:
- Your a multi tasker that can juggle IT demands for a busy grocery store
- You have excellent customer service skills and are committed to finding solutions
- You have high standards when it comes to the details and problem solving
- You can work independently but also enjoy team collaboration
- You value kindness and seek to work in a supportive and inclusive environment
The successful candidate will have at least one to two years of related experience; or the equivalent combination of IT education, training and experience.
