Hybrid Hot Sauce

  • Prep time 10 mins

This is a delicious and very simple hot sauce you can whip up really quick. It is actually inspired by my son, Kai and his friend Olin as they decided to just whip up some hot sauce in the mortar and pestle one day. It was actually very delicious and I am a bit of a hot sauce connoisseur, so we decided to make a recipe out of it.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. All you need to do for this one is combine all of the ingredients in a blender and puree.
  2. You can keep this in the fridge for up to a month.  If you do not think you will get through it in that time, portion and freeze to be used another day.
  3. To make this sauce mild, you will need to omit the habanero pepper and also remove the seeds and veins from the serrano peppers.

Variations

If you cannot find a tomatillo, substitute with a regular tomato.
