Honey Garlic Glazed Beets

Ingredients

Directions

  1.  Cover the beets in a pot with water and simmer for about 50 minutes or until soft but not mushy.
  2.  Remove from water and cool enough to handle and then peel the skin off with your hands.
  3.  Now slice the beets into about ½ inch slices.
  4.  Preheat a large fry pan on medium heat and then add the butter and honey. Once the butter has melted add the beets and sauté for about 4 minutes turning over once half way through.
  5.  Now add the garlic, salt, pepper and cinnamon and sauté for 2 minutes more.
  6.  Garnish with parsley

  • COOK 1 hour

Variations

  •  Cut the beets into bite-sized cubes instead of slices and then follow instructions. Once finished cool beets to room temp and use as a super tasty component to a salad.
