S Hill writes to Royal Oak
Dear Sir. I am writing to thank you and your staff for the kindness and help that I received with my son Thomas on Thursday October 13th. Due to a momentary loss of concentration on my part, Thomas had an accident which resulted in a badly bruised fingertip. The two ladies working in the Flower Department came to my aid, guiding me to the sink in that department so that I could bathe Thomas' finger. One lady brought a small bag of stickers etc to try and distract Thomas. The other lady helped me to bathe his finger and then helped me through the chechout before carrying my shopping to the car. This allowed me to concentrate on my 4.5 year old son. Please advise the ladies that the bruising was to the fleshy part of the fingertip and not to the fingernail. Thanks to you and your team once again for the help that they gave to Thomas and myself. We look forward to returning to the store very soon--although hopefully without any mishaps.
K Murray writes to Esquimalt
Dear Sir. I wanted to let you know that Jeff and Murray over at Esquimalt Country Grocer went above and beyond the call of duty for my 83 year old mother today. My mom is blind and can no longer shop on her own as she needs to be pushed in a wheel chair. On top of this, she just got out of the hospital and had no way of getting food for the long weekend. Murray and Jeff arranged to deliver food to her within the course of an hour and now my mom has nutritious food to last her for the weekend. I can't tell you how much this means to her and me. I love in Toronto and could not have helped her without Jeff and Murray's assistance. Special thanks to Murray for making my mom feel part of the neighbourhood. When he dropped off the food at her apartment, he recognized her as a regular Country Grocer shopper for the past 20 years. Thank you Murray and Jeff!
